Exotic Species Surgery Experience

Updated: Nov 15, 2021

Testimonial:

I have known Dr. Gandolf since she was a veterinary student at The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. During her fellowship at The Wilds, a wild animal park in Zanesville, Ohio, we worked together on some exotic species needing surgery for various disorders.

We’ve stayed in touch since then, frequently discussing current concepts in surgery and treatment strategies for small animals. Dr. Gandolf is a highly intelligent person and savvy clinician who is committed to offering the best possible care for her patients. She continually seeks to improve her knowledge and skill with self-study and by continuing education seminars.

Rae is an excellent veterinarian and I have no doubt that she will provide outstanding service to her clients and their animals.

This baby camel beat the odds, being found very sick shortly after birth. Following 2 months of intensive care including surgery for skin ulcers she was released back out to pasture with her mom.
